The ISO 14001 is a global environmental Management System (EMS) standards, providing framework for organization to demonstrate their commitment to environmental responsibility.
The ISO 14001 standard is built on the concept that better environmental performance can be achieved when environmental issues are clearly identified and managed. ISO 14001 certification is increasingly a condition of doing business internationally and promoting a positive environmental image.
ETC’s team of ISO 14001 experts have been helping clients achieve ISO 14001 conformance quickly and cost-effectively, by working closely with an in-house team to evaluate the company’s current position relative to ISO 14001. ETC’s team will help clients to determine the most cost-effective and least disruptive program development strategy, ranging from training to optimizing project controls and reporting procedures. ETC Implementation Programs may involve:
  • Environmental Policy and Manual Development
  • Internal Audit Training and Assistance
  • Consulting During Stage 1 & 2 Audits
  • Executive Briefing Sessions
  • Procedures Development
  • Benchmark Analysis
  • Registrar Liaison
  • Initial Reviews
  • Gap Analysis
ETC has a proprietary database
using Microsoft Access and also
work with many databases to
manage the entire environmental
management system electronically,
also using the database to manage
the Environmental Preventative and
Corrective Action Requirements (EPCAR).
The database can be used by all users via
net work system.  Utilizing the database will free
up client personnel for regular job duties and costs less
than committing a client employee to EMS upkeep.
